People who visited our website today (Sunday) may have noticed we were briefly taken over. I apologize for the delay in restoring our service. It didn"t help that I was out of town at the time. Players and parents should take note that anytime our website is out of service, you can access much of our information at either our backup site (http://info.columbiajuniors.com/) or on Facebook and Twitter.

Because of this, I'm advancing a previously scheduled upgrade of our website... so you may notice some things are missing during the change over. We'll gain some new items after the upgrades are done. Thanks for your patience...

Update: the calendar is a little slow getting move over, but should be done by Monday evening. Check http://info.columbiajuniors.com/ until then or our facebook page.

Columbia will once again be attending the Volleyball Festival this year (in Phoenix, AZ.) We expect to send six teams (18-Black, 16-Black, 16-Red, 15-Black, 14-Black, 13-Black) this year. Please let your coach know immediately if you will be unable to attend with your team.

Several changes this year:

  • registration fees are due up front this year - this means we need to collect $70 from each player who will be attending. (Normally, we don't collect this fee until May.) Please pay your $70 registration fee to your coach asap (made out to Columbia Juniors.)
  • Allegiant Air now flies to Phoenix - parents who choose to fly should begin researching flights now. Players will need to arrive on Sunday, June 27th. Teams MAY finish before July 3rd, but some teams will still be playing on that day (including possibly in the afternoon.) Check with your coach, but otherwise please do not plan to fly out before the evening of July 3rd.
  • Parents who plan to drive down, please let John or Chris know if you can help haul equipment for our teams.

Columbia 14-Black reached the Championship Final at the Yakima Mid-Season Classic (upsetting the #1 seed along the way), before finishing 2nd (of 12 teams overall.) Columbia 13-Black reached the Consolation Championship Final and finished 8th.

Those of you waiting for XXL half-zip sweatshirts... the original color is backordered. John will probably change them to a different color. If you don't want that, contact him asap.

For those items you have picked up, check the prices posted here, and make your checks out to Columbia Juniors. You can give your payments to your team's coach or directly to John.

Missing something you ordered? Check with John at practice to see if it's been back-ordered.
